Midwest Express Airlines - January, 1999

The Midwest Airlines (formerly Midwest Express) name won't be around very much longer. Its new owner, Republic Airways Holdings, will fold Midwest into the Frontier brand, which hubs in Denver. Midwest, which once billed itself as Milwaukee's hometown airline, is facing increasing competition from AirTran, which once tried to buy Midwest.

British Airways - October, 1999

This is a 320-page Millennium edition of a British Airways timetable. You can see the Millennium Dome on the back cover. I was a frequent traveler to Johannesburg on the LHR-JNB-LHR run. I always used BA for my American mileage account. I also flew many times to Paris using an LHR-ORY routing. Air Liberte, a BA affiliate, had the only afternoon return trip so I found myself on that airline quite often.
