Western Pacific Airlines - October, 1996
The legacy of WestPac was the logo jets they flew, as featured prominently in this timetable. Its short-live commuter affiliate was Mountain Air Express.

Eastwind Airlines - February, 1996
Eastwind Airlines began flying in August, 1995. Shortly after Continental shut down the Continental Lite brand, Eastwind relocated its main base from Trenton, N.J. to Greensboro, N.C. From Greensboro, non-stop flights were offered to Jacksonville, Trenton (continuing on to Boston), and West Palm Beach. Just by reviewing the headlines about this airline, one could tell they weren't going to be around very long.
Here's a great article detailing Eastwind's problems. Four months after this article was written, Eastwind was grounded by its creditors in September, 1999.
