ExpressJet Airlines - September, 2007

ExpressJet is one of Continental's largest commuter partners, operating as Continental Express, that began a branded flying operation just when oil was rising to $147 per barrel. The small jets didn't generate enough revenue to offset the high fuel cost, so the experiment ended in September, 2007, five months after it began.
