Muse Air - September, 1982

Muse Air was a Southwest wannabe and was originally started by a former president of Southwest. It was later sold to Southwest and the name was changed to TranStar. Flights were expanded into Florida, which is when I took exactly two flights on the airline on a MIA-TPA-MIA trip in 1986.

Southwest probably bought Muse to integrate it or eliminate the competition. In 1987, TranStar shut down.
